It’s been quite a while since I broke out my AnalogMan BC-109 Sun Face fuzz pedal. But some of the new Slim Volume tunes have been asking for it.
Germanium fuzz pedals are known for doing funky things — picking up radio signals, reacting to temperature, and generally being a little unpredictable. In this case, though, I think the battery started to sag, throwing off the bias and causing some chaotic tones.
Here is the moment where things started going haywire…
Naturally, we started jamming along to this F# tonality.
Here is the end of the chaos, where you can get a short glimpse of how manipulating the volume knob on the guitar actually adjusts the hectic output.
